    April 14th, 2008

Threes a Crowd: Sex, Love, and PMS

    April 12th, 2008

There is a lot of chatter lately about whether women like sex during PMS. In truth, a large percentage of women say that their sex drive does spike during PMS! Alrighty, that is the good news.

Why then….you might be asking yourself, aren’t I getting any love during that time?

Well, to be honest, the answer is simple. Get ready to take it like a man! Women are not struck stupid the moment their hormones go into overdrive. They have these overwhelming hormonal urges (ummm…..you know what I mean right??), but they are sore all over!

If you usual motive of operation is the grabbing, wrestling match that resembles the end of a high school date in back of a car, then I am guessing you will be a lonely man until you both learn to meet each others needs.

Face it, during PMS everything hurts from cramps to headaches to bloating. She feels ugly and fat…..might even have a few zits. Oh yes….it is a great time to feel all sexy and start the love machine! But, in over 75% of women, there is a tiger waiting to claw through that PMS and relieve those hormonal urges with you! Your mission…if you choose to accept (cue the music)…is to coax her into your hands by easing the PMS.

How? Here are some PMS tips:

  • When she complains of pain or cramps, offer to run her a hot bath with bubbles.
  • As she relaxes into the suds, massage her shoulders and feet. This should be a movement. Start at her shoulders and work your way downward ignoring her sexual areas. This builds anticipation and trust while it relieves and relaxes.
  • Offer her a glass of wine or beverage of choice.
  • Put on some music and light candles to set a spa like tone.
  • Towel her off when she is ready to get out. If she has a favorite crème, then ask her if you can put some on her.
  • The idea is to constantly keep the touching up with little kisses and massages that she can relax during. Remember, she is expecting your sexual advances, so keep your touches light and let her know that this time is all about her because when you remove all of the reasons that she does not want to be touched, both mentally and physically, she will be more receptive to make the move toward you. ~~Dee

    Men and PMS

    April 9th, 2008

Many studies will claim that men suffer from PMS just like women do. Of course, there are no PMS cramps, headaches, or PMS bloating, but the mood swings are there in many forms. For example, when the women in your life experience PMS, do you:

  • Make fun of her pain or symptoms with crude jokes?
  • Make cracks about her behavior being “on the rag”?
  • Tell her that she is looking fat in her clothes?
  • Explain to her that she is eating everything in sight?
  • Sometimes, it is the small comments that start her mind spinning out of control on hormones fueled by PMS issues. There is probably not a man on earth who has not nudged another man with a look of pain while whispering one of the comments. Many times, the right words of support can go farther than a quart of triple chip chunk ice cream! Now, words of PMS support and triple chip chunk ice cream will get you even further in the PMS fight!
